Contact usHow do I get workers — do I have to search for them myself?
Either way works. Raise a requirement and every worker matching the location, job role and dates is notified automatically — you do not have to pick anyone, and nobody has to assign them. Or search the directory yourself and request specific people. Most vendors use both depending on how urgent the job is.
What happens if a worker accepts and then backs out?
They return to the available pool immediately and reappear in the listing. Your requirement stays open for its remaining count, so anyone else who matches can still accept it, and you see the shortfall — for example 10 needed, 5 accepted, 5 still open.
Can I see a worker's phone number before booking?
No. Mobile number, documents and bank details stay masked until the booking is confirmed and the worker accepts it. The rule is enforced on the server, not just hidden in the interface.
How is attendance recorded?
Day by day, by the worker: after each day on site the worker requests that day's pay, and the vendor approves it. Every approved day is the attendance record and the payment in one — there is no separate sheet to fill in or verify.
What does Work Marg charge?
A flat platform fee, set centrally by the admin and shown before you pay — one per requirement, one per direct booking. Workers are never charged. The vendor pre-pays the wages into escrow; they are released to the worker one approved day at a time, and whatever is unused comes back when the requirement closes.
Can I pay through the platform?
Not in this version. Payments are recorded and tracked, not processed — you enter the amount, mode (cash, UPI, bank transfer) and status, and the platform keeps the ledger and outstanding dues. There is no live payment gateway yet.
Is there a mobile app?
Not yet. Work Marg is a mobile-responsive web platform, so it works in the browser on any phone. Native Android and iOS apps are a later phase, along with WhatsApp messaging and distance-based map search.
