Two flat fees, paid from the wallet
Wages for a requirement or a booking are pre-paid from your Work Marg wallet into a hold and released to workers as you approve the work. The platform adds one flat fee on top — nothing is ever taken as a percentage.
Requirement fee

- Charged once, when you publish a requirement — however many roles and workers it covers
- Moved from your wallet into the hold together with the wages
- Returned in full if you cancel before any worker accepts
- Kept by the platform once a worker has accepted or when the requirement closes
The wages themselves are not a fee: they are held for the workers and released day by day as you approve each requested day. Whatever is not released comes back to your wallet when you close the requirement.

- Charged once, when you accept a worker's offer in chat — accepting is the payment
- Held with the offer total until you approve the finished work
- Kept by the platform when the booking is released, settled in cash or split
- Returned only if the platform refunds the whole booking as a dispute backstop
The offer total (days × the worker's rate) is released to the worker's wallet when you approve their release request. Fees are kept on a release; wages are never.

Three helpers for five days at ₹700 a day is ₹10,500 in wages. With the ₹5 requirement fee, publishing takes ₹10,505 from your wallet. The ₹10,500 is held for the workers and released as you approve their days; the fee stays with the platform. Choose to pay day by day instead and publishing takes the first day's wages plus the fee; later days are paid from the wallet as you go.
10 days free, then a membership
Membership keeps a registered tradesperson's dashboard open. It is not a fee for getting work: no commission is ever taken from wages, and even a member whose plan has lapsed stays listed, matched and paid for every approved day.

What costs nothing
Three things the platform does not earn from.
Withdrawals
Free. No minimum amount. Transferred by hand to the bank account or UPI ID you save; the amount leaves your wallet when you ask and comes straight back if the request is turned down.
Commission on wages
None. Workers pay nothing on what they earn, and every rupee a contractor releases for a day or a booking lands in the worker's wallet in full.
Registration and verification
Free for contractors and tradespeople. A worker's documents are reviewed by a person at no charge, and the verified badge costs nothing to keep.
- Fees and plan prices are set centrally and recorded on each payment — a change applies only from then on and never re-prices a requirement, booking or plan already paid.
- Fuel claim: a worker turned away at a booked site may claim ₹2.5 per road kilometre, both ways, paid from the booking's hold and never more than it.
- Refer & earn: ₹50 to the referring worker when a worker they referred first pays for a plan — paid by the platform, never from anyone's wages.
Every refund goes back to the wallet, at once
Cancel a requirement before anyone accepts and the wages and fee return in full; close it after the end date and whatever was not released returns. Membership plans are not refundable. The full rules are written down.
